One Christian's response to terrorism and the Islamic Jihad
First of all I feel a call to seek God's forgiveness for turning from Him and many times loving mammon and the world more than I love Christ. I feel this is a call to repentence for me and for my beloved country .God has protected this country many times in history and will again if we seek His face and turn from our wicked ways. Ultimately this battle is spiritual and can only be won through the power and intervention of God. Certainly government has the right and mandate to use the "sword" against those who threaten the lives and security of the nation but the real forces we fight are not of flesh and blood but unseen forces of wickedness.
Christians need to fear God and Him alone. Then you can know peace no matter what the circumstance satan throws your way.It is important to understand that anger and seeking justice is justified, hatred and the seeking of vengeance will only make us in the end like our enemies.
By God's grace we should pray for those who are so deceived as to believe killing innocent men,women, and children is a service to God. Pray for them to come to repentence that their hearts might be open to Christ's love and forgiveness.. Let us not forget that Paul slaughtered many Christians before God used him as a great apostle and that ALL of us are guilty in God's sight and in need of forgiveness. Then let us pray that God's Holy Spirit would bring a huge outpouring of conviction and desire to know Jesus Christ among the world's muslim community who need to know the freedom and joy of God's forgiveness through Christ. In the end the Prince of Love and Life will conquer the forces of hate and death.

A Study of Allah and the God of the Bible
Since Sept 11th many Americans have wondered what Islam is all about and how can muslims say they serve Almighty God and do such murderous and barbaric acts of destruction. First of all the religion Mohammed created was birthed in blood as he and his followers slaughtered countless polytheists, Jews and Christians in the name of their god "Allah" 1400 years ago. Mohammedism grew much by the power of the sword as his armies swept through the middle east, north Africa, and through central Asia killing those who wouldn't convert by the tens of thousands (1).
The truth is that though "Allah"(al-ilah) means "the god" in arabic it refers to a proper noun or name of a deity(originally from pagan Sabeans)-whom many scholars believe is in effect the babylonian moon god Mohammed's Quraysh tribe worshipped-one of 360 deities worshipped in the Kaaba at the time (2) .This god had 3 daughters & were goddesses worshiped throughout the middle east & were called al-Lat, Manat, al-Uzzah. Mohammed elevated Allah to become the supreme deity of creation, transcendent and unknowable and said it was the God of Abraham . However, on closer examination of the descriptions of Allah in the Koran the differences between Allah and the Lord God Jehovah or Yahweh of Judeo-Christian revelation are immense. The loving though Holy triune personal God as revealed by Christ and the New Testament is far from the impersonal and distant Allah of Mohammed (3).
The Koran is full of verses to kill unbelievers as a command of Allah where the Bible tells us God is a loving and forgiving Father who loves us as children and commands us to love our enemies and forgive them- not kill them. The Bible tells us the battle we fight in this world is spiritual- not of flesh and blood- but against principalities and powers in the heavenlies and that we have authority over demonic and satanic forces of darkness through the Name and power of the risen Christ- who was and is God Almighty in the flesh. Allah is in fact a different god and one who's only sure road to 'paradise'(4) is by slaughtering innocent people in his name by dying in "jihad". The true God(Father) of creation says the road to heaven is through His Son Jesus Christ who though He was and is fully God (three persons-one God) made Himself man, and chose to die on the cross to bear the sins of a fallen and lost humanity. He rose from the dead as victor over satan and is coming soon to bring us home to His eternal Kingdom of light.

3.If Allah & the God of the Bible were the same Muhammed certainly would have used the NAME of God-JHVH. Otherwise Allah -'the god' could mean any of a number of deities worshipped in the middle east at the time.
4. The muslim idea of a carnal paradise is nothing like the Bible's view of Heaven. Fornication, adultery, drinking alcohol, large numbers of perpetual virgins to ravish, etc. are the descriptions of the muslim 'paradise'. Such an idea is far from the spiritual revelation Christ taught Heaven would be to those clothed in His white robes of righteousness.
5.Muslims have been blaming the West for islamic jihad since the time of Muhammed. There are two existential realities to muslims- the house of war and the house of peace. Live in an infidel country and your in an active(or passive) state of war- once conquered you live in the house of "peace"(though taxing jews and Christian if any are alive). That's a 1400 year old reality that explains everything...now how do you deal with it and a billion muslims....eventual you may well have armageddon though I think the muslims are sadly mistaken on who the mahdi ultimately is- Jesus Christ is not converting to islam..He conquers it.
